Clockwork Angel Review
So, I have recently read Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, and my review seems to be really late, although I finished the novel about a two-weeks ago. But I would have to rate this book 5 stars most definitely. I have read the entire The Mortal Intruments series by Cassandra Clare, and it was so nice to jump back into the world of Shadowhunters and downworlders. Although, this book was not what I suspected, I had such a hard time putting it down, which is something that I love. I loved the emotions that you could feel from Tessa, and how much Will wanted to share who he was, but didn't want to at the same time. The battle within himself was so strong. This book actually taught me a lot about myself, that sometimes you don't know who you really are, until someone points it out, or shows you. That doesn't mean that you're not truly you, it just means that you are you along with this new profound talent or skill. I could never imagine going through Tessa went through and losing Nathaniel the way that she did was terrible. I can relate to having a weak minded brother, and an older brother at that. So reading it first hand, really made me miss my brother. I love the way that Cassie writes and puts emotion into her characters and love in her relationships/friendships. I cannot wait to continue the journey and see where Will, Jem and Tessa end up in their lives in Clockwork Prince I will be starting that momentarily. Although, I should and want to continue immediately, I am trying to get multiple series either started or finished, so I have currently just picked up and started on Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I am not far in it, but I am very excited to see where this series takes me as well! I will be sure to update you guys more often, I apologize for the empty time between posts!- Terra
