Anna and the French Kiss Review
I spent all night last night finishing this book, I completely fell in love with it. I was at about 31% through it last night, and I finished it. I could not put it down. I have to give this book a 4/5 star rating. It was amazing, I loved how attached I got to the character of Anna. Her feelings were so overwhelming, but in the best possible way. Being "rejected" by St. Clair, and having everything going on. Yes, it's a typical high school affair, just in Paris - of all places. It sound cliche trust me, I thought the same thing, but there was just something about this novel that was so heartwarming, that by the time that I was finished with it - I just wanted to cuddle with my loved one in bed. You understand friendship and betrayal, possibly even in ways that you didn't understand before. Stephanie Perkins, did such a great way to describe everything, and even the locations in Paris. It was easy to read, and it held my interested, which is rare, because it wasn't a young adult fantasy novel or paranormal, and I still loved it. I had read so many reviews about it, that I was worried that I wasn't going to enjoy it, but I am so happy to share that I am wrong about that! There are so many things that people will love about this novel, such as how easy it is to delve into the character of Anna, if you have this contemporary novel on your shelf, I personally suggest that you pick it up and open it up. It's a book I'm happy that I've read, and get to share with all of you.
