Red Queen: Book Review

So let me start out by saying, I was so exciting to read this book. I had read such good reviews about it, so I had really high expectations to fall in love with this novel. And let me tell you Victoria Aveyard did not disappoint. I totally fell into this world of Reds and Silvers with no problem. I was able to have a real connection with Mare Barrow, and feel the emotions that she was feeling when it came to both Maven and Cal. Everything about this book I totally loved, I have to rate it a 4.5/5 stars, because everything about it, just made me smile. I'm just sad that it took me so long to finish it, I'm just beyond glad that I was able to do so. I would have to say that although the book isn't exactly how I thought that it was going to be, I have to say that it really surprised me, and lots of twists that I wasn't sure if the book was going to take. It pushed the envelope and I fell in love! I cannot wait to read more of Victoria Aveyard's work and I cannot wait for the second novel to this book. If you have not read this book yet, you should pick it up at your local book store or order it online on amazon or ebay or something. It is a book worth your money and your time. I just hope that the sequel lives up to the hype and the beauty of the first, Red Queen.
