Now, after I read Alexa Crushed I just had to read and finish Alexa Loved and just let me say that I do not regret in the slightest bit reading this book. This was such an amazing read, I felt as though I really got to connect with Alexa, Devin and Ethan on such a different level, and I loved it. I love how to can feel what T is trying to tell you, you feel every emotion - and you feel like you know them and they are your friends that all of this is happening to. This book, was so much better than the first (no offense T) but I just love all the raw emotion and all the want that was in this book. Everything about it was amazing, let us talk characters here please.
Alexa - this girl. I was really starting to wonder about her during this novel, only because both Ethan and Devin are amazing, but you can only really want one for life. I'm glad that she picked one that I approved of - that's for sure. The only thing that I cannot agree with Alexa, is how much she acts on her emotions out of nowhere, without thinking. That has tended to get her into trouble in the past - you would think/hope that she would learn from her past mistakes, but not quite yet.
Devin, I really feel as though through this novel, Devin has become my favorite character, he is the man that I would pick - and I would want to personally marry. He has been ready to settle down, since he was like 12 years old. I love everything about Devin, how sweet and sentimental he is, and how much he loves to share his emotions with Alexa, but I the only thing that I wish was different about Devin, was that he would be a little more straight forward. He tends to let things that I feel are a huge deal - he lets Alexa get away with no problem, without a conversation, or trying to figure out how to avoid those kinds of problems. I wish that he would be more of that kind of person.
Then there is Ethan - I really hated Ethan. I thought that he was a home-wrecker, I thought that he was a slut, and I didn't like the idea of Alexa wanting to be with him. I didn't like how he would enter her life and thinks that all was fine and dandy and that he could take her from Devin. He was cocky and arrogant, and I understand fully that was T's idea of him, and that's cool. But Ethan is not someone that I would care to associate with.
The new people in their lives I would have to say are amazing, Jeremy and Sebastian, I cannot believe how much I loved them. They were like the big brothers that Alexa needed and I cannot be more thankful for them and everything that they have done for her, throughout the whole book.
I am trying so hard not to give too much away - because so much happened, but it was all amazing and it is something that I don't want to give away too much because everyone deserves to love this book on their own and be surprised and shocked with all the things that happen in the story. Trust me though, you will need kleenex. It was too the point that I literally messaged T on Facebook and ask her why she would do such a thing! Trust me, you're going to want to read this book - and soon. If you haven't read it already, then you need to, after you read Alexa Crushed of course!
