I received a free e-copy of this book, for an honest review, after reading the first part, Fierce Salon: WASH.

I just have to say that I really did enjoy this book, I think that it had a lot going on though. There was a lot more than I had planned to be going on. The first book was mainly about just Amy and Nate. There was a lot more going on then I had planned, but I personally feel as though the characters were a lot more descriptive and more complex then they were the first time around. Which as a reader is something that I love. I love watching the characters develop and become so much bigger and better than they were previously.

I feel as though Amy has matured a lot in this book especially in turn to the first one. I feel as though sometimes she doesn't think things through, which is obvious from the first book. But she has grown a lot as a person. I don't 100% agree with the relationship that she has with Nate, just because of the thought of everything going on in his life, I'm just shocked that she wants to stick around, and does, being a part of a pre-made family is really hard, and I'm aware because I have taken that step into my own life. But I love how she is able to talk with her sister about everything and I love the insight of her sister, (although right now I cannot think of her name) I just love how she explains the situation in a way that Amy is able to grasp in a good manner.

Nate... I don't know what to say about him, I really like him as a person, but I don't like the way that he exactly handles situations, he has a temper, although it's not a miserable temper. I love the way that he likes Amy, I love the way that he is around her - and how he thinks about her, it's so sweet, and how she is the first person he wants to talk to about everything going on. I'm sure that a lot of people questioned his decision for the test - but I don't. When it's been that long and someone walks up and tells you that they had your child, you're going to question it and you're going to want to be 100% sure, no matter how much they look like you. I understand that first hand, and I feel as though that was a smart decision to make.

Olivia - that girl is wild, and for a while I really liked her. I liked how she was strong willed and was able to stop smoking cold turkey because she wanted to be able to impress Greg and not make him dislike her for smoking. I love that she did that, because she wanted to pursue that relationship with him. Now, what I don't like is that she is so willing to just throw everything that she had with Greg out the window - to me that was so selfish and that was just down right rude. I really liked her up until that point, and it's really upsetting everything that happened to her after she broke up with Greg - but I feel as though going to the bar immediately was just the wrong decision - which then you are aware if you've read the book, how it ends... I don't want to give away too much.

Frankie - if I ever had a gay friend, I would LOVE to have one like Frankie. He is so caring and he is not afraid to tell you how it is, or take your keys because you're drunk or you're out of line. He is just so amazing, that I would love to have a friend like him. I just don't know why he suddenly "fell in love" with Andre though... that didn't make much sense to me, especially as though it felt as though they had only been talking for a little while. I feel as though Frankie's whole relationship and dating life had moved a lot faster than the rest of the book... and I don't know how I feel about that - especially when he told Andre him that he wasn't trying to be in a relationship right away, and that he was new to being "out of the closet". So, I feel as though that was a lot to take in, for just one book.

But other than that I loved everything about this book, I loved how you slowly watched the relationships between the characters grow - and how even though we hate to admit it, things that happened in this book, really happen in the world. And as much as I know we don't want to face it, it's good that someone wrote about it - although I'm sure that everyone didn't enjoy it. Because I know that I didn't, but I love that it was brought to light how easily those types of things can happen. Such as unwanted pregnancies - and rape... those are things that happen everyday, and I'm glad that someone was able to make it a point of how easily it can happen to anyone.

I cannot wait to read the next book, Fierce Salon: REPEAT, and see what happens with Liv, Amy, Nate and the rest of the gang.
